Point-of-Sales System

SQUASH*Bar is a user-friendly Point-of-Sales system designed to be running from the club’s bar, reception desk, shop etc.

With this system club members can purchase from the bar / reception / shop using their prepaid balance from the Booking System. Members can update their prepaid balance by making a cash payment as well.

Members identify themselves either by using their keyfob (in case the Access Control System is present) or by entering their member ID and PIN Code using a small keypad connected to the POS PC. A receipt printer can be connected so that receipts can be printed to members and guests.

Staff are also able to launch a special version of the Online Court Booking system through the Point-of-Sales System enabling them to:

Book courts for members/guests either as cash sales or using members prepaid balance
Pre-book courts in case of phone bookings and mark these bookings as unpaid

Later when the member/guest arrives the booking is marked as paid - either as cash sales or using the members prepaid balance.

The system can run from a standard PC connected to the internet - optionally with a touch screen and/or an electronic cash drawer - or from a dedicated POS PC.

SQUASH*Bar can be installed on multiple PC’s in the club - each with individual sets of items and item groups. Item files can include information about account numbers (from the General Ledger) and sales can be exported to files ready for import in the club’s financial system. Reports also include daily sales reports for each member of the sales staff with information about sales, prepayments, card and cheque payments and reconciling info.
